How chowpip uses your information

What we keep

• Your name, email and password (stored as a secure hash, never readable).
• Your household's meals, ingredients, plans and shopping lists, and the foods you choose to leave out. We never ask why you leave something out.
• Timestamps of what you do in chowpip (adding meals, planning, ticking the list), used to measure how long things take in the pilot.
• Notes Daniel makes when he helps you, and your answers if you take part in a pilot interview.
• If you pay, Stripe handles your card. We receive only the amount, the date and Stripe's reference numbers.

What we don't do

• We don't collect health details, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising.
• We don't send your recipes or the foods you leave out to analytics or AI services.

Fonts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers.

How long

We keep your data for the pilot and its follow-up, then delete it unless you become a paying customer. You can ask for a copy (Household › Download my data) or for deletion at any time.
